Let's face it, sometimes your guns get rusty despite your best efforts to give them the care they deserve. When that happens, you can show them some love by cleaning of the rust with Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner!
Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner will quickly and safely remove the rust, even hard-to-see subsurface rust, without harming the factory bluing. The powerful cleaning gel will work safely on all types of firearms -- including stainless!
To remove the rust, simply apply a generous amount of the Gun Cleaner gel to 0000 steel wool. Lightly rub the cleaner onto the rusted surface and let it soak in for a few minutes.
This will allow the cleaning gel to penetrate into the pores of the metal and rip the rust out by the roots.
After this, simply wipe off the gel with a paper towel. You will be able to see the rust that has been removed and the surface of the firearm is now rust free.
Apply Blue Wonder XFR Premium Lubricant to the surface to prevent future rusting and you're good to go!
To remove rust from your guns you need the following:
- Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner
- Blue Wonder XFR Premium Lubricant
- 0000 Steel Wool
- Soft Cloth or Paper Towell
If the rust created pits in the metal and you want it to return to its factory-knew look, you will need to sand the surface until it is smooth. Then use Blue Wonder Gun Blue or Gun Black to touch up the surface and match the original factory finish.
By the way, you can also use Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner to remove rust from hand tools, knives (including stainless steel), and to loosen stuck bolts.
In addition to removing rust, Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner will also remove copper and lead fouling from the bores of rifles and pistols. It will also remove plastic buildup in shotguns.
